Options 2000

The Rock Rapids Municipal Utilities is pleased to offer rebates on residential attic insulation. The product must be purchased within a twenty-five mile radius of Rock Rapids. Local merchants have the necessary paperwork to file for the rebate. If you buy your product outside of town, stop into the Utility office for the form to be completed or click here. The rebate is offered in the form of CAC gift certificates, which are honored at most local businesses, including the Rock Rapids Municipal Utilities.

* To receive this rebate, two inspections by the utility are required - (1) prior to adding new insulation to your attic and (2) after new insulation has been added. This is the homeowner's responsibility.

NOTE: Effective August 1, 2001, vendors within 25 miles of Rock Rapids will be included in the Options 2000 Rebate program. If a customer is using an out of town vendor, it is the responsibility of the customer to pick up a rebate application and have it completed by the vendor.

NOTE: All rebates will be in the form of CAC gift certificates.
